FILM SHOW AT ARKEN: DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HENNING HOLCK-LARSEN

On 17 April 1979 this documentary about Henning Holck-Larsen, produced by journalist Mogens Behrendt, was shown on Danish TV. We meet a passionate Holck-Larsen in a somewhat faded documentary that cannot hide its 33 years of age. The film is not only an honest portrait of a man, but also a picture of India in the late 1970s. The film deals with some of the differences between the Danish and Indian society that still exist, and it focuses on the Indian dualism between poverty and modernisation.
